“What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace, be warmed and filled,’ without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?” James 2:14-16.
Central Presbyterian Church’s “Little Pantry” provides non-perishable foods, toiletries, and other items free for people in need. “Take what you need – Leave what you Can” is the message of our little pantry. The pantry is located next to the clothing and household goods recycle bin on Jackson Street across from the church office. If you would like to donate items, you may bring them to the church office or put them in the pantry directly. Please no used or open goods; glass, harsh cleaning chemicals, expired food, food prepared at home or food without labels.
