Summer is here!
Come be a part of our youth group at CPC!
Wednesday Night Fellowship: We offer dinner at 5:30pm for everyone, followed by discipleship for all ages. The youth have fun time for games, worship with contemporary music, and small group Bible study. This is a great time for kids to get to know each other and grow their faith. On the second Wednesday of each month, youth are invited to travel to Itasca with our youth leaders for worship and fellowship on the Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services campus. We are currently on summer break for WNF!
Summer Mission Trip: there is an opportunity to go to San Antonio for a mission trip through Blueprint Ministries. Blueprint is a faith-based non-profit organization. They offer work camps based out of San Antonio serving people in the inner-city who are elderly, low income and/or disabled. The work is primarily to help make their homes more liveable. Camps are from Sunday afternoon-Thursday most weeks of the summer. A specific week for CPC youth has not been set. If interested, please contact Letitia Rutan.
Summer Sunday School: Beginning May 24th, Sunday school will enter “summer mode.” That means our lessons will be short, and kids/youth will be going outside to the Fellowship Park area, so dress accordingly! Also, with summer vacations, we could use a few more adults to teach a Sunday or two. Please contact Annette Goss if you are willing and able.
Family Faith and Film Night: Friday, June 8th at 6:30pm at CPC. The feature film for adults will be the 1957 classic courtroom drama “12 Angry Men,” starring Henry Fonda. The film for kids is TBD. Movies will begin at 6:30pm sharp! Snacks will be provided.
Vacation Bible School “Shipwrecked: Rescued By Jesus” will be June 18th-21st 5:30-8pm for toddlers-5th grade! There are helper opportunities for kids 6th grade and older. Pastor Matt will lead an adult Bible study each night. Please contact Annette Goss for more details.
Our dedicated youth leaders are Matt Authier, Justin and Stefanie Hentschel, and Letitia Rutan.
