Youth Groups and Activities at Central Presbyterian Church
At Central Presbyterian Church, we love having fun with kids of all ages! We also take to heart the promises made at baptism by committing to nurture and love children, and guide them to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Opportunities to experience the love of God and grow in faith include Bible education, outreach activities, music and fellowship in a youth-oriented way. It is our mission to offer the kind of education and environment where all may come to know Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior!
Different youth groups and activities are organized to meet the unique needs of diverse ages:
Same Difference Youth Group:
During the past few years, our teenage youth group has grown to 30-40 members, with a dedicated room outfitted for music, games and devotional service. This group meets on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings and participates in a wide range of social and mission activities.
For younger children, age-appropriate activities include Sunday School, Children’s Church (during regular worship for ages up to 2nd grade), Wednesday Night Fellowship, Vacation Bible School and a Nursery service for newborns and preschoolers.
All of the adults supervising or volunteering in Central Presbyterian Church youth activities are trained, and have undergone background checks. We take the safety and security of children within our church extremely seriously, and strive to provide a safe and reliable environment for each child to learn to love God and understand their place in his mission in their lives.
