Same Difference Youth Group: Junior and Senior High Students Church Life
“What makes us the same is that we are all so different and come from so many different backgrounds and have so many different experiences.”

Youth at Multi-cultural Youth Conference at Mo Ranch 2011
We are a welcoming group made up of students from a wide variety of church backgrounds and family make-ups. We teach a Bible-based, Christ-centered approach to Christianity.
Youth Director, Daniel Fields (Daf_fields@yahoo.com)
While only commissioned Same Difference during the spring of 2009, this current youth program was established in the fall of 2005. Since then we have seen this program grow from 5-10 students in the fellowship hall on a Sunday evening (and that was a good night) to 30-40 in a youth room that is totally ours.

Our Wednesday night worship includes a time of fellowship when students can enjoy our game room or just hang out, followed by a time of intimate, contemporary worship for jr. high and high schoolers; then we divide the jr. high and high school groups for relevant, interactive, youth-centered Bible study.
Other events include a variety of activities such as:
- Senior High Youth Conference
- Multi-Cultural youth camp
- Service projects and outreach
- The annual "Acts 1:8" local mission trip
- Annual summer lock-in
- Broomball
- Laser tag
- Pool Parties
- Parties at various youth's houses

Camp at Mo Ranch
We like to have fun together, but we also reach out to others in the name of Christ. We have spent time doing a variety of service projects for our church members in need, but also in and outside our community. We have spent time ministering to the homeless through Our Calling in Dallas, as well as serving meals at Union Gospel Mission in Dallas.
